The space
Here at the "Hillside" we want you to make yourself at home and provide all of the things you would expect to have in your own cabin.

We try to do our part in keeping our recreational playground healthy by only use green and organic cleaning supplies.

There is an onsite washer and dryer to make sure you can keep those outdoor clothes ready for the next day's adventures

In the winter we provide a "drying room" to make sure your winter gear is ready for another round of snowball fights or Nordic Trek!

PLEASE NOTE: Part of the cleaning fee is the cost to service and clean the hot tub after each stay.

Hillside Hideaway is your cabin for the duration of your stay. Please, make yourself at home and treat it as if it's your own.
Additional notes
Please remember that you are staying in a home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect, just the same as you would treat your own home. As I'm sure you're aware, there is nobody that lives on the property. If any problems arise, we are available 24/7. We will do our best to take care of your issue as soon as possible.

Please note: Hillside Hideaway is very much in the mountains and as such can be impacted by severe weather on short notice. This is especially true in the winter. The beautiful panoramic views this property has to offer are in large part due to its location being nestled on a hillside. In order to access the home, you will need to navigate the uphill driveway which may be covered in snow. While we regularly plow and keep it clear, 4-wheel drive and/or chains are highly recommended and sometimes required. If you are not comfortable driving in the snow and/or do not have this type of vehicle, we recommend parking made available at the bottom of the driveway.
Guest interaction
Please know that we are available for you throughout your entire stay. Our level of interaction is entirely up to you - we are only a phone call away or message away. You will be able to self check-in and check-out upon arrival and departure.
Neighborhood overview
There is plenty to do around Hillside Hideaway. Our personal favorites...a gentle hike up to Hidden Lake or a cup of hot cocoa at Plain Hardware just down the road!
Getting around
You will need your own form of transportation to get around the Plain Valley and into Leavenworth. If you are visiting in October or December for the festivals, we recommend scheduling a shuttle service with Leavenworth Shuttle & Taxi.
